Panama: The Isthmian Route

Join photographer Kathy Adams Clark and birdwatcher Gary Clark on this remarkable journey to Panama.

We'll stand atop the canopy tower at Soberania National Park. Experience and photograph the birds of the Chagres River, Achiote Road, and Pipeline Road. The feeding stations of Cerro Azul foothill and San Lorenzo Park will be a marvelous stop and an opportunity for up-close views of many birds.

Photographers and birdwatchers of all skill levels will enjoy this trip. Non-photographer traveling companions are welcome. Pace is relaxed and easy but we will walk to take advantage of the sites.

Ecuador - Galapagos & Hummingbirds

Travel with Kathy Adams Clark and Gary Clark to the Galapagos Islands aboardthe 16-passenger motor yacht The Daphne. Marine iguana, sea lions, swallow-tail gull, tropicbirds, blue-footed boobies, waved albatross plus stunning landscapes and beautiful beaches.

Limited to 12 participants on an exclusive charter.

The first day of our tour, well visit the lowlands of mainland Ecuador to photograph 10+ species of hummingbirds. The following day, we'll fly to the Galapagos to begin the main part of our adventure.

This trip is for photographers of all skill levels using digital SLR cameras. Birdwatcher and nature lovers will love this trip. Traveling companions interested in birds and tropical wildlife would also find this trip a great value.

Peru -- Machu Picchu and Amazon Wildlife

Travel with Kathy Adams Clark to Manu national Park for macaws, parrots, black hawk, canopy tower, canoe rides through the jungle and much more. Then board a small plane for the return to Cusco. The Capital of the Incas is our base for exploring the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. This trip include two days in Machu Picchu in case of bad weather.

PhotoFest Galveston April 12-14, 2012

A return of the highly successful photo component to Galveston Featherfest.   Larry Ditto, Sean Fitzgerald, Debbie Ferrell, and I will be the workshop leaders.  Locations will be Bolivar and Galveston's harbors and East Beach.  Specialized outdoor workshops will include flying birds, high-dynamic range photography, night photography, and painting with light.  Indoor workshops include basic nature photography, processing images, advanced techniques, and looking at nature in a different way.
